We offer outdoor ceremonies . Can be indoors in the barn if you choose so. Our reception area is mainly in the barn. If you choose to have an outdoor reception there is plenty of space.

For 2024 we are offering 200 white chairs and 25 wood folding tables plus the venue for 3,500 dollars. A security deposit of 300 is required.
Decor and props included if you chose to use them.

Our capacity is 200 max inside the barn. If your guest count is bigger you can add outdoor seating, put tables in the grain bin gazebo, and rent the tent.

Your total budget is going to be at 3-12 thousand dollars. Adding up the venue, cake, food, drinks, bartender, DJ, photographer, decor, and dress will give you your total budget.

Serenity Barn offers dry RV parking for a few RV’s. Not a lot. This would be for you and close family.

Rainy days : The barn can be set up as the ceremony space. After tables and chairs can be moved in for reception. The barn is a beautiful place for both.

Yes. We have a designated area outdoors behind the bar . No smoking in the bar, the barn, milk house, basement, or next to the buildings.

No, we do not permit activities that could lead to a disaster.

Yes. With prior permission. Old school cars, horse, tractor, horse and carriage are some ideas.

No. It is prohibited to damage the barn or bar. Damage free wall hooks with adhesive strips are ok! We have nails in the barn that can be used for hanging your decorations. For additional decorations please use things that do not permanently damage the barn, bar, or arbor.

No red wine in the barn. Stains will not come out of the wood.

Not in the barn. You can outdoors if you plan on cleaning it all up.

Yes. It is a requirement for you and the vendors you choose to clean up. Telling your vendors to pickup after themselves is required. You will have Sunday till noon for clean up. Cleanup charges will apply if the venue is not left as when you came. Bring coffee and breakfast. Maybe some good music and people to help. It can be fun and fast with multiple hands to help.

Yes. There is a 300 dollar deposit with a credit card on file. The deposit is refundable if the venue is left how it was when you arrived.

Yes. We encourage you to create a team of family and friends to help with the labor and clean up. A checklist is recommended for your team. Staff can help on Saturday. But the help is limited.
Booking FAQs

We suggest booking a tour first. Please contact us for booking. We make it super easy. We send you the contract privately through email. The contract must be signed and first payment down before you are booked for the most magical moment of your lives!

3,500 total rental fee.
1,750 as a down payment. Due within a week of the signed contract.
Then we split the last 1,750 into two payments.
And a 300 dollar security deposit that is refundable with No damage or mess left.

Catering FAQs

We let you chose your own. We offer a list of local vendors on clicking on Pricing and Dates and scrolling down Catering and Bar.

You work with the Cater. We require the phone number of the ones you choose. We like to get in contact with them as well to make sure they communicate the time they will be at the venue.

Planning FAQs
-
10:30 PM for music. Venue stays open till 11:30 if you chose to go longer. Music can go on past 10:30 but must be turned down.

Time to drop things off for decorating is Friday. The vendors time is Friday as well.

No open flame. We used flameless candles we found on amazon and put them in decorated jars on the tables.

3 months before your wedding at the latest.

Go to the Court House.

You are responsible for setup and clean up in your time renting the venue.
